In the scorching heat of South Africa, photographer Michael created stunning images for Skins that reflect his vision on the skin.
“I am fascinated by skin. It is like a landscape on our bodies. So many different textures, shades and sensations on one body. It is something we all share. Yet I know personally that it can also cause a lot of anxiety. I think it is so important to love your skin because it is the only one we have.
There was a great energy on set shooting for Skins. Hot sun, shiny skin and little beige thongs. The models were feeling themselves and it brushed off on everyone. It was a beautiful day of everyone embracing their skin and feeling confident.”
