"Put a little foundation on the back of your hand and apply it to your face with fingertips or with Laura’s Egg-Shaped Sponge. For best results, use your favorite Laura Mercier Foundation Primer before applying the foundation.

For an extremely flawless and natural result, according to Laura, it is important not to apply too much foundation in the center of the face. This can ensure that wrinkles and other imperfections are accentuated. Whether using liquid, cream, or powder foundation, she recommends always starting at the outer edge of the face and working your way up to the nose. Focus on one area at a time and make sure the formula blends well with the skin. Don't use too much foundation on the eye and face contours. Repeat this action until you have achieved the desired coverage.
