Kismet Olfactive Nostalgia Eau de Parfum is an ode to the French perfume city of Grasse, where Kismet founder Shabnam Tavakol trained as a perfumer. Constructed like a sonnet, the fragrance contains 14 carefully selected ingredients.
The opening combines suede, saffron and leather, a reference to the tanneries that made Grasse famous in the Middle Ages. In the heart, Rose de Mai and nagarmotha blossom, a nod to the fragrant flower fields that made the city the perfume centre of the world in the 18th century. The fragrance takes an unexpected turn with aniseed-like top notes inspired by Pastis, the spicy aperitif with which Tavakol developed a connection during her time in Grasse.
