Ever seen a cat rolling through catnip, looking intoxicated by the experience? I feel like rolling myself through Musc Ravageur!

I finally succeeded to get my hands on MR- and I love it! Coincidence is that I've owned Castelbajac and Labdanum 18 before, not even being aware that those fragrances as well as Musc Ravageur were created by Maurice Roucel. I noted the similarities with Labdanum 18, but Labdanum 18 is MR's tame sister. MR has what Labdanum misses out on: MR is clovely, I almost want to bite him! The tonka, musc and lavender notes are very distinct, without having the wearer smell after garam massala.

I wear this on a regular hot summer' day in the Netherlands. But I also love to wear Orto Parisi during the long hot and very dry Dutch summer days.

I love Musc Ravageur as much as I love my all-time favorites (Mugler's Oriental Express and Orto Parisi's Terroni), and that says a lot. I don't fall for every fragrance, I have to feel like a scent belongs to my skin. And as for maturity: since age 13 I have been a sucker for musc scents and classic fragrances. MR is by no means old-fashioned.

Musc Ravageur is one of those olfactory experiences that actually smells 100% after its namesake. And MR does totally smell as lovely as anticipated: I had to wait really long to get my hands on it and it was worth the buildup: it even exceeds my expectations!

Heel warm zonder echt kruidig of zoet te worden. Daarmee is het een geur die unieker is dan bloemigere musks. Voor mij niet op herhaling omdat ik graag meer uitgesproken geuren draag. Dit is een geur die minder opvalt maar wel lang blijft hangen. Mocht je op zoek zijn naar wat meer kracht dan raad ik je aan om er ook een body wash of olie bij te nemen om de geur verder te versterken.

Heerlijke geur voor het najaar/ winter.
Dit is echt een kwaliteit geur !!!
