Let yourself be inspired by the skincare routine of three Skins Experts

The new year has started; a good time to take a closer look at your skincare. Are you happy with your skin and the products that you use, or could your skincare routine use some extra attention? Are you looking for the best skincare today, or looking for some refreshing additions to your collection? Our Skins Experts give a peek into their routine, so you start this year off right.

The basic skincare routine

Are you all caught up on the basic skincare routine? It typically consists of three steps: cleanse, care and protect. You start by cleansing the face by applying a cleanser and then a toner. Then you start taking care of the skin. You do this by possibly applying a serum, after which you moisturise the skin with a day cream. Finally, you finish the routine by protecting with an SPF. Those are the basics, which you can extend as needed.

But what suits your skin? You might have difficulty finding what works for you among all the choices. That's why we asked our Skins Experts for help. They have an excellent knowledge of our products, so they have carefully chosen their skincare routine. Get inspired by the skincare routines of these Skins Experts.

Skins Expert Sabine's skincare routine

Our first Skins Expert is Sabine. She works as a driven Product Specialist with a passion for skincare. Sabine is always up to date with new developments in the industry and, of course, the brands and products at Skins in the range. As a result, Sabine has made an educated choice about the products she uses in her skincare routine. Read along to see which products are in Sabine's routine.

As a first step, Sabine uses Waphyto's
Regena Foaming Wash. "I find it important that a cleanser has a soothing effect in addition to cleansing and does not dry out my face. This comes together nicely in this Foaming Wash". Sabine continues with Dr Barbara Sturm's Balancing Toner. This toner removes the last traces of make-up and rids her skin of the day's marks. "Barbara Sturm's toner is soothing and provides a moisture boost, a perfect addition after cleansing and before I apply serums and creams." As a serum, Sabine uses Furtuna Skin's Due Alberi Biphase Moisturising Oil. This pure oil provides a double dose of hydration and a radiant complexion. The oil is then combined with Sunday Riley's ICE Ceramide Moisturising Cream. "The nice thing about this cream is that it has a rich texture, yet it absorbs quickly. I also find the ICE Ceramide Moisturising Cream ideal as a night cream". Finally, as an SPF, Sabine recommends Coola's Suncare Drops. "I like using the Suncare Drops because they do not leave a white glow and do not contain the typical 'sunburn' smell. In addition, these drops not only protect against UVA/UVB but also help mitigate the effects of blue light, IR and pollution."

Skins Expert Mark's skincare routine

Skins Expert Mark is trained in the world of Skins and works as a Senior Customer Experience Specialist. Working daily on which products are best for our customers, he has carefully thought about the products that suit him. Read along to find out what Mark's skincare routine is.

To clean his face, Mark uses
HMN's cleanser. He uses this twice to remove sun protection from his skin properly. In the evening, he adds Sunday Riley's Luna Sleeping Night Oil as a serum to his routine, which soothes and boosts his skin. Every morning and evening, Mark uses The Grey Skincare's COMFORT+ Face Cream. He applies it extra generously at night to keep his skin hydrated while sleeping. Finally, Mark uses an SPF during the day, namely the Sun Cream Face Sensitive SPF50 Perfume Free from V.SUN. With this, he combats signs of skin ageing.

Skins Expert Claire's skincare routine

Skins Expert Claire is a Project Manager at Skins. Through her experience at Skins, she too has put together a beautiful skincare routine that works for her skin. First, Claire uses REN Clean Skincare's Rosa Centifolia Cleansing Gel to cleanse her face properly. She continues her routine with Royal Fern's Phytoactive Skin Perfecting Essence. This toner contains nourishing ingredients and gently but thoroughly exfoliates the skin. Then Claire starts caring for her skin, using a serum. "I use Sunday Riley's C.E.O 15% Vitamin C Brightening Serum during the day. I use this to make my skin look firmer and plumper. At night, I replace it with Costa Brazil's Kaya Anti-Aging Face Oil combined with a Gua Sha stone." Finally, Claire uses Royal Fern's Phytoactive Rich Cream, a rich cream that intensely hydrates the skin.
