Kurkdjian wanted to capture the essence of Baccarat and composed the fragrance around three olfactory 'auras': mineral (the depth and transparency), fire (the glow) and air (light and movement).

"My intention with Cuir InfraRouge was to create a fragrance revolving around leather, an ingredient close to my heart, and to offer an unexpected and elegant creation with a strong sillage.

For this fragrance, I thought back to many evenings spent with my best friends. The nocturnal atmosphere of music festivals inspired me to use a smooth and reassuring leather fragrance. The sight of bright lasers and the vibrant, addictive taste of raspberry daiquiris (one of my favourite cocktails) inspired me to add a raspberry accord to the fragrance, full of vibrancy." - Thibaud Crivelli
