Spoel de tandenborstel na elk gebruik grondig af onder warm stromend water. Beweeg de borstelharen daarbij zachtjes met de hand om tandpastaresten, vuil en bacteriën te verwijderen. Ga voorzichtig om met de tandenborstel en voorkom dat deze tegen harde oppervlakken zoals glazen of aanrechten stoot of valt, aangezien dit de gemetalliseerde coating kan beschadigen en kan leiden tot afbladdering of verkleuring. Reinig de tandenborstel uitsluitend met water en gebruik geen agressieve chemicaliën of schurende schoonmaakmiddelen, omdat deze de gemetalliseerde onderdelen kunnen aantasten. Deel de tandenborstel niet met anderen om kruisbesmetting te voorkomen. Kauw niet op de tandenborstel en slik deze niet door, aangezien dit schade kan veroorzaken en verstikkingsgevaar oplevert.
