HIMA JOMO’S LOVE FOR THE HIMALAYAS

Discover a brand born from a passion for this extraordinary region.

As connoisseurs of distinctive brands, we cherish moments that touch and rejuvenate us. hima jomo offers such an experience. The perfume house invites you to revel in the present with fragrances inspired by the breathtaking nature of the Himalayas.

Introducing hima jomo

hima jomo was founded by Vittoria Liu. The founder of this French perfume house has Chinese and Italian roots but resides in Paris today. Her fascination with fragrance developed early on. To stay connected with herself and nature, she regularly visits the Himalayas. There, she discovered that each season in this region offers a unique experience and that its diverse ecosystem is a treasure trove of perfumery ingredients, such as sandalwood, tuberose, and rose. Along with the serene beauty of the Himalayas, this inspired the foundation of her perfume house and fragrance collections. The first part of the house's name is a nod to this majestic mountain range. The second part, 'jomo', means 'holy mother' in Tibetan and refers to the joy of missing out: a moment of peace in our hectic lives.

Perfumes to share

The two collections from hima jomo, The Seasons and The Treasure, serve as a tribute to the natural beauty and strength of the Himalayas. They invite you to step back and come closer to yourself with perfumes highlighting pure natural ingredients. Like most fragrances in our collection, hima jomo's creations are 'to share' and thus wearable by both men and women. Due to the different pH levels of the skin, each perfume will offer a unique scent experience on the wearer's skin.

“A tender embrace from the land we call home. ”

The beauty of the four seasons

Each perfume in The Seasons collection symbolises one of the four seasons and is formulated by Delphine Thierry – one of the world's most renowned master perfumers who specialises in creating natural perfumes. An interesting detail is that hima jomo uses alcohol made from organic wheat in their fragrances, which is also kinder to the planet. The collection includes Winter in Manaslu, a fragrance inspired by the cedar growing 8,163 meters above sea level on the snowy Himalayan slopes, where the air is icy. The eau de parfum has a crisp scent experience, combining notes of peppermint, pine, and musk with cedarwood from the mountainous region. With spring coming up, we also want to highlight Spring in Bome. The fragrance reflects early spring in a hidden valley, with beautiful peach blossoms and fresh moss. It is a pure scent that exudes renewal and is perfect for adding to your spring collection.Bovenkant formulier

A treasure trove of scents

The second collection, The Treasure, refers to the riches of the Himalayas. The three scent creations are crafted by renowned master perfumers Bertrand Duchaufour, known for L'Artisan Parfumeur and our newness brand Alûstre, and Barnabé Fillion, likely known to you from the cult brand Aesop and Arpa.

Loon delivers a soft, powdery fragrance with a hint of pink Himalayan salt. Pashm is as smooth as a cashmere scarf, enveloping you in a delicate blend of creamy sandalwood and iris root. Tchai celebrates the famed Darjeeling tea with rich notes of black tea, bergamot, and cardamom, creating an invigorating scent.
