After a careful and intensive journey, we can finally share it: in early 2026, Skins will be officially certified as B Corporation™. We started this journey in 2024 and have since worked together on processes, policies and choices appropriate to corporate responsibility. It has been an instructive and valuable process in which we have invested because we believe that growth goes hand in hand with concern for people and the environment.

What is B Corp™?

B Corp™ stands for Benefit Corporation and is an internationally recognised certification for companies doing business with consideration for people and the environment. To be certified, organisations are extensively assessed for their impact within five areas: governance, workers, community, environment and customers. This is not just about intention, but about demonstrable performance, transparency and accountability. Think about how you deal with employees, how responsibly you procure, how you impact the environment and how you record decision-making as a company.

What makes B Corp™ extra relevant for us is that it is not an end point. Certification is reassessed every few years. That requires focus, continuous improvement and continuing to make choices that fit with responsible business practices. We see B Corp™ not as a label, but as a compass that helps us grow more consciously, even as Skins continues to expand in Europe in the coming years.
