Laat de stokjes bij het eerste gebruik minimaal 1 uur in de geurvloeistof weken voordat je ze omdraait. Gebruik altijd alle meegeleverde stokjes. Voor meer of minder geur kun je alle of enkele stokjes één of meerdere keren per dag omdraaien. Vervang de stokjes zodra ze verzadigd zijn, omdat ze dan minder goed opnemen en de geur minder verdampt. De gebruiksduur hangt af van kamergrootte, temperatuur, zonlicht en luchtstromen. Kies een passende diffusermaat, houd hem uit de buurt van warmtebronnen en vul bij met dezelfde geur om het vloeistofniveau op de hoogte van de bolling te houden. Plaats niet op gepolijste of geverfde oppervlakken of op elektrische apparatuur.
