The fragrance was created through a collaboration between Géraldine Archambault, founder of Essential Parfums, perfumer Mathieu Nardin and Philip Hillege, co-founder of Skins. Together, they offer a modern interpretation of the classic tea accord.
Osmanthus Absolu combines osmanthus, black tea, fruit and soft woody notes.
The fragrance feels crisp during the day and develops more warmth and depth in the evening.

Three visions, one creation
For the first time, Skins is collaborating with both a perfume house and the perfumer behind the composition. What unites Géraldine Archambault, Mathieu Nardin and Philip Hillege is the belief that perfume begins with the creator. The perfumer is given the freedom to create entirely according to his artistic vision.
This vision aligns with Mathieu Nardin’s approach. The Grasse-born perfumer is renowned for his crisp, contemporary signature and his focus on natural ingredients.
“For this collaboration, we were looking for a different direction from woody notes. When I smelled the first version, there was something magical about it straight away. The clarity of the tea accord surprised me and provided exactly the fresh energy we were looking for.”

A modern interpretation of osmanthus
Osmanthus is a small, cream-coloured flower that has been used in China for centuries to flavour tea. The blossom symbolises wisdom and refinement and naturally possesses soft nuances of apricot and peach.
In Osmanthus Absolu, this ingredient takes centre stage. Bergamot and cardamom provide a sparkling opening. At the heart, juicy fruit, osmanthus and a smoky note of black tea come together. Cedarwood, vanilla and a subtle leathery accent lend the fragrance warmth and structure.

A fragrance for late summer evenings
Osmanthus Absolu evolves with the day. During the day, you’ll experience bergamot, cardamom and fruit as fresh and light. As evening falls, black tea, cedarwood and the soft leathery note come more to the fore.
