He must have dreamed of tree houses as a child. A self-taught carpenter and architect, Takashi Kobayashi now devotes his life to building tree houses in the forests of Japan. Constructions that blend into their natural environment as they reach for the sky. The Tree House candle has retained the makeshift architecture of these poetic gems: cedar, bamboo, sandalwood, guaiac wood and hay. A solid frame dotted with scents of spice, myrrh and labdanum. The more the scent of the candle spreads, the higher it seems to send us.
Each BYREDO candle is a unique scent created for fragrancing the home. The candles are hand-made in France using mouth-blown glass and cotton wicks.

How to
Always let the scented candle burn until the entire surface is liquid. After blowing out the wick, center it. Before lighting the wick again, cut it with a wick trimmer. By consistently burning the scented candle in this way, the candle will burn slower and it will burn out completely.
Note: Do not place the candle in a draft or directly on a glass or marble surface. Never leave the candle unattended, and do not move or tilt it. Keep out of the reach from children.
