How to
The scented candle will burn up evenly and cleanly if you let it burn for at least two continuous hours the first time-or until the top layer of candle wax has liquefied completely. After blowing out, immediately centre the wick and make sure it is straight. Cut the wick until it is about half an inch long before lighting the candle again. This will make the candle burn slower and prevent black smoke deposits on the inside of the glass. DIPTYQUE has developed a special wick trimmer, to cut the wick properly even when the candle is already almost gone. TIP: Create your own home fragrance by burning 2 candles at the same time. Do not place the candle in a drafty room or directly on a glass or marble surface. Do not leave a candle burning when you are not around. Do not move a burning candle or cut the wick when it is burning. Keep out of reach of children.
