Molecule 05, Cashmeran, van Escentric Molecules is een droog stralend, warm en houtachtig parfum met een onverwacht vleugje dennenhars. Dat gaf de parfumeur het idee om een ander soort zomergeur te creëren. “Ik wilde het gevoel van een dagje aan zee oproepen, maar niet met de gebruikelijke mariene noten die ik te kunstmatig vind. In plaats daarvan wilde ik de ervaring van een eiland in de Middellandse Zee creëren, zoals het eiland waar ik zoveel zomers heb doorgebracht. Wat opvalt als je het pad vanuit zee bewandelt, is hoe de hitte planten en bomen verandert: ze worden droog, harsachtig en aromatisch.”
