With *The Code of Emotion Extrait de Parfum* , Francesca Bianchi Perfumes invites you on an olfactory journey beyond the everyday.
The creation of this fragrance was inspired by the concept of an ‘Emotion Generator Machine’ – scents designed to evoke specific feelings. The classic fougère structure, known for its green, aromatic and woody character, served as the foundation. This was deliberately disrupted by an unexpected tropical twist, enriched with juicy mango. The result is a fragrance that strikes a balance between comforting familiarity and playful brightness.
The perfume emerged from an in-depth exploration of the mechanisms behind emotional responses to scent. The central question was: can emotions be decoded and replicated? With this in mind, work began on an ‘Emotion Code’, in which each note was carefully refined, like a mechanic tuning an engine – with the aim of evoking nostalgia, passion or comforting warmth. The fruity accord refreshes the traditional fougère base, making the fragrance feel both recognisable and intriguingly new. Seductive without being gourmand; rich without being overpowering. The fragrance offers a lively contrast between grounding woody notes and vibrant fruitiness.
To round it off, iris-like accords were deliberately avoided and animalic notes kept to a minimum. Only a hint of musk was added to preserve clarity and freshness.

How to
Apply perfume to areas where you can feel your pulse clearly, such as your wrist and neck. You can also spray the perfume onto your clothes, as this helps the scent to last longer. With Eau de Parfum, Extrait de Parfum and parfum, the fragrance is worn only on the skin, as the oils need the skin to retain the scent. Cologne and Eau de Toilette can be sprayed onto clothing. Please note: if the perfume has a high colour concentration, do not spray it onto light-coloured clothing.
