How to
The scented candle will burn evenly and cleanly if you let it burn for at least two consecutive hours the first time – or until the top layer of wax has completely melted. After blowing it out, centre the wick immediately and ensure it is standing straight. Trim the wick until it is about half a centimetre long before lighting the candle again. This will make the candle burn more slowly and prevent black soot from forming on the inside of the glass. Diptyque has developed a special wick trimmer to ensure you can trim the wick properly even when the candle is almost finished. TIP: Create your own home fragrance by burning two candles at the same time. Do not place the candle in a draughty room or directly on a glass or marble surface. Do not leave a candle burning when you are not nearby. Do not move a burning candle or trim the wick whilst it is burning. Keep out of reach of children.
