Layer+ was born from a convergence of worlds. From Skins, with more than 25 years of experience, and five of the world's best laboratories, with more than a century of knowledge. This is where science, craftsmanship and creativity come together. Working with nature as inspiration, the laboratories develop the most beautiful, sustainable captives* that form the heart of Layer+.

* In the perfume world, the term 'captive' stands for a fragrance ingredient developed by one fragrance house and used exclusively by that house.

What is a fragrance enhancer?

A fragrance enhancer is more than a perfume. It is an addition. A twist on the fragrance you already wear, on your body lotion, or on your natural fragrance. You use it in combination with, or alone. An enhancer adds emphasis. It adds an extra layer. It is subtle. It makes your fragrance even more sophisticated. Want something more playful? Then add fruity. Want something warmer? Then you choose musky. You can play with it, you can explore. So the question is: what will be your plus?

The Layer+ collection

The Layer+ collection consists of five fragrance enhancers, each with its own character.

• Ambery: a mysterious fragrance. It is sensual and warm. The orange blossom gives it a fresh and floral character. The glow of the Golden Hour, that beautiful moment when the sun wraps your skin in a warm glow.
  Musky: an intimate embrace. That's Musky. We've brought the fragrance to this day and age. It's pure, slightly more modern than you're used to, but still deep. Musky is subtle. It leaves room for you, for your natural scent.
  
• Woody: a rooted and solid feel. The perfect balance of woody notes. Woody gives confidence. The deep notes make it earthy. It is not too intense, not too dry - instead, it is very refined. A scent that actually always fits.
  
• Milky: warmth and security, a sense of sensuality - with Milky you bring it together. The scent of milk lifts you up. It's full, it's rich. It has something sweet, something creamy. It's a familiar scent, one that attracts.
  
• Fruity: the name really says it all. Fruity is a fragrance that makes you happy. It is joyful, it is present. It's sweet, but not too. Wear it alone to feel extra energy, or layer it and give your favourite fragrance a playful plus.
  

Each enhancer is developed with innovative captives from the best laboratories: Symrise, Givaudan, Takasago, IFF and dsm-firmenich. These laboratories bring together the most important: the artistic, the scientific, the sustainable, nature as the biggest inspiration.
