L'Eau Papier Solid Perfume by Diptyque is inspired by paper itself, as both a material and a medium for artistic expression and creation. Perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin began with roasted sesame seeds as the first ingredient, chosen to evoke the fresh scent of ink and add a delicate touch. Musk notes enhance the sensual aspect, whilst floral mimosa brings soft, powdery qualities. The character of the grain and ink notes, blended with the sweetness of white musk, thus creates the scent of paper and results in a subtle and delicate fragrance.
