For this fragrance, Kilian Paris asked Sidonie Lancessseur to create – or rather, to invent – the scent of vodka on the rocks with an icy effect. To achieve this, Sidonie combined cool herbs and spices – coriander, cardamom – with aldehyde notes. The heart is a bitter accord of rhubarb with bright floral notes – rose and lily of the valley – to convey the sensation of white spirit. In the dry-down, oakmoss, ambroxan and sandalwood impart an iodised (salty, mineral), yet comfortable and slightly leathery effect. The bottle is designed entirely with shimmering smoke, opaque black glass and silver-coloured accents. True luxury should last a lifetime, which is why all Kilian Paris perfume bottles are designed to be refilled.
