Ume Komon Incense by Nippon Kodo is sandalwood incense. Adorned with plum blossom, Ume Komon incense gives off a rich and enchanting sandalwood fragrance. The combination of freshness and softness evokes the refinement of Japanese flowers. The paulownia wood box protects the sticks from moisture. The refined design is inspired by traditional ceramic patterns from Arita, the cradle of Japanese porcelain, and the Imari style. There, in the 260-year-old kiln known as Genemon, talented craftsmen keep ancient traditions alive. The lovely plum blossom, known as ‘ume’ in Japanese, brings a touch of softness and poetry into the home.
