Heerlijke chypre geur. Ik hou van kruidige aparte geuren die een ander niet zo snel zou dragen. Ik vind dit een heerlijke geur die voor zowel speciale gelegenheden als elke dag te dragen is.

Een geur die veel bevat, ik ruik elke keer wat nieuws. Diepgaande geur, blijft lang hangen. Toch ook zacht en warm. Geen geur voor de zomer vind ik.

Zo blij met mijn nieuw geurtje. Van diptyque Eau capitale. Ik had het bij iemand geroken en was er helemaal weg van. In de winkel in Antwerpen hem getest en getwijfeld. Terug thuis toch maar besteld. Zalige geur.

Ik heb deze geur geprobeerd omdat ik op Parfumo zag dat hij wat weg heeft van Portrait of a Lady van Frédéric Malle. Vanaf de eerste spray waande ik me in een chique Frans resort, omgeven door elegante en verfijnde aroma's. De geur opent met een rijke, bloemige mix en onthult daarna diepere, complexe noten. De longevity is uitstekend en de sillage is precies goed - aanwezig maar niet overheersend. Deze geur straalt luxe en klasse uit en geeft je het gevoel van een Franse vakantie. Absoluut een aanrader voor liefhebbers van verfijnde parfums.

Chypre in itself brings together the four main families of perfume: floral, woody, ambery and citrus. Some even speak of divine proportion. Paris is a city with hundreds of facets, which is why chypre is combined with many more fragrance notes, including rose, patchouli, oakmoss and bergamot. Thus, this perfume captures the essence of the city of love.
