Do not burn the wax figurine on a delicate surface, such as wood, to prevent stains or marks. It is best to place it on a suitable candle holder or a heat-resistant dish. Never leave a burning wax figurine unattended and do not place it in a draughty spot, as this may cause the flame to waver and the wax to burn unevenly. Ensure even burning by keeping the wick centred and trimming it regularly with a wick trimmer to 5–8 mm.
