Fluo_ral by Nomenclature is based on the molecule calone. In the 1990s, this was used for clean, bright aquatic fragrances. In this perfume, transparency is heightened with green notes so bright they are almost fluorescent.
Rhubarb, blackcurrant bud and tomato leaf add the vegetal scent of a moonlit jungle on the coast. The fragrance also contains notes of Somali incense, whose metallic facets add cool sheen to the salty effects of calone. In this highly contrasted and textured environment, the molecule evolves into a new olfactory form of life. This is marine, but not as we know it.
