Nomenclature’s Holy_wood pays homage to synthetics with this fragrance: the lab-created version of patchouli. This ingredient, characterised by a woody, camphor-like scent – sensual and dark – enjoyed its heyday in the 1970s and was inextricably linked to the hippie movement for decades. Nomenclature is now introducing the modern version.The fragrance is a light floral scent with a classic note, complemented by sparkling pink pepper. Two floral essences, Bulgarian rose and jasmine sambac, add a touch of Golden Age Hollywood glamour to the formula, resting on a base accord of sandalwood and suede.
