Apply perfume to areas where you can feel your pulse clearly, such as your wrist and the nape of your neck. You can also spray the perfume onto your clothes if you like; this will help the scent last longer. With Eau de Parfum, Extrait de Parfum and perfume, the fragrance should only be applied to the skin, as the oils need the skin to retain the scent. Cologne and Eau de Toilette can be sprayed onto clothing.
