L'Iris Eau de Parfum by Officina Profumo-Farmaceutica di Santa Maria Novella is a green and floral perfume inspired by the Florence iris flower. This flower has multifaceted connections to the Italian city and has been a powerful symbol of protection since ancient Greece. The perfume opens very powdery and floral with a spicy note. The base is enriched with iris butter extracted from the flower's rhizomes and is the most precious poudré raw material in perfumery, which has to mature for six years. As the house's very first perfume, L'Iris deserves its place in the "I Giardini Medicei" collection.
