Cruelty-free
Although animal testing has been legally banned for cosmetics in Europe since 2013, a Cruelty-Free label still provides additional assurance. This way, you can be sure that a brand actively checks that animal testing does not take place anywhere in the chain, including through detours, and that a brand is actively committed to controlling and complying with animal-test-free standards.
This selection is compiled on the basis of Provenance. This does not mean that other products or brands are not cruelty-free, but simply that they have not yet joined Provenance.
