The Moon by Editions de Parfums Frédéric Malle is a perfume with notes of saffron, Turkish rose, oudh and leather. The moon plays a leading role in guiding the rhythm of life in the Middle East, its ethereal appearance heralding the beginning and end of all festivities. But in Arabic, invoking the moon is also an allusion to romance - "my moon"; an adoring grandiose term for one's beloved that speaks of beauty and eternal devotion. Rose, oudh and frankincense exude a warm, opulent quality and meet a surprising abundance of ripe red berries. In subtle elicitation of the fruit-flavoured shisha enjoyed across the region, the abundance of notes of red berries and raspberries adds sweetness and colour.

For perfume spray: Diffuse a 'cloud' of perfume in the air and walk through, your hair is an excellent perfume carrier (however, never spray directly onto the hair).

Eine durchaus wunderschöne Komposition aus Oud, Leder, Himbeere - die drei Komponenten rieche ich zum größten Teil heraus.
Im Opening eine Wucht von Oud, welche für ungeübte Nasen eine Herausforderung sein könnten, dicht gefolgt von einer wunderschönen Himbeer-Litschi Kombination die mit durchaus präsentem Leder im Hintergrund arbeitet.
Die Handschrift von Rasquinet was Oud angeht in unverkennbar und wunderschön.
Ein Duft mit Tiefe, Frucht und einer unglaublichen Haltbarkeit.
Ein Frucht-Oud Duft der es in sich hat. Einer meiner Lieblinge von Frederic Malle.

this is almost never on discount & if you can get a hold of it - get it. Not a safe blind buy so I recommend you sniff it first. But if you appreciate the niche scents & their complex uniqueness, this one is a banger. Lasts long, unisex, deep & sensual but not cheap. Highly recommended

The Moon van Frédéric Malle is een geur die de passie van de maan weerspiegelt. Het opent met sappige vruchten, die zich langzaam ontwikkelen naar roos en mysterieuze wierook. Het is alsof de maan je omhelst, je hart sneller doet kloppen en je in een wereld van verlangen trekt.
Deze geur is intens en betoverend, net als een liefde die je niet kunt vergeten. The Moon is de essentie van romantiek, gevangen in een fles.
