During this Masterclass on Demand, our Skins Experts dive into world of perfume, and teach you more about a unique ingredient: the rose. Where does the rose come from? And what different types of rose are there?
As a lover of sophisticated fragrances, this Masterclass is a must do. During this online masterclass, you will discover all about the much-used and beloved perfume ingredient rose. In this session, we will show you the versatility of the rose, through creations in which the rose clearly stands out, and in which the rose scent is more deeply incorporated. This is a nice addition to any previous perfume knowledge.
After your order, you will receive a set with 10 samples of different rose perfumes and a mini scented candle. You will also receive an online voucher of € 20 to spend in our boutiques and on skins.nl. This should be activated via your personal Skins Inclusive account.
The Masterclasses on Demand can be followed at a time of your choice. You will receive the link to this online Masterclass by e-mail. You can view the Masterclass up to six months after purchase. The Masterclass can only be followed in Dutch.

Als je van parfum houd of niet weet naar welke geur je op zoek bent is dit een perfecte manier om hierachter te komen. Erg leuk om thuis te doen!

Het was ontzettend interessant om meer te weten te komen over de oorsprong van de Damascena roos, ook wel bekend als de Turkse roos.
Het hoogtepunt van de sessie was de kans om het verschil te ruiken in diverse soorten parfums. Waar de roos soms een wat stoffig imago heeft, laat deze masterclass zien hoe veelzijdig ze is: van fris en dauwachtig tot donker en mysterieus. Een inspirerende ontdekkingsreis door de wereld van 's werelds meest iconische bloem!
Ik was eerst een beetje sceptisch of ik roos als ingrediënt fijn zou vinden in herenparfums. Maar ik heb ontdekt dat ik dit juist erg aangenaam vindt. Zal in de toekomst zeker meerdere parfums aanschaffen waarin roos dominant is.
Ook zal ik zeker meerdere masterclasses volgen!

IK heb hier super van genoten ... ga zeker ook de andere masterclasses volgen. Ik dacht eerst oei rozen, komt dit wel goed voor een man? ( Ik ben behoorlijk nieuw met parfums) Oei wat was ik fout ... Ik heb niet geroken waarvan ik dacht ... ooo nee, of ik alles zou dragen, is wat anders. Ga zeker alles eens een kans geven. Super leuke manier om de wereld van Parfum te ontdekken! Ook wie een activiteit zoekt om te doen , ... onder vrienden !

The Roses-Masterclass exceeded my expectations from the very first moment! The presentation is stunning: a beautifully designed box with 10 generously filled perfume samples, a mini candle from a niche brand, tester strips, and wooden swabs.
The video series is excellently structured: 1) an introduction to the rose in perfumery, 2) a clear guide to scent testing, 3) two rounds of 5 perfumes each: first blind-tested, then revealed in detail. The two-round format shows both the bold and the subtle sides of the rose note.
The fragrance selection is outstanding: high-quality perfumes from well-known niche houses — distinctive yet very wearable. Everyone can find something that suits their taste. My personal favorite was perfume No. 2: a beautiful, lush, honey sweet rose.
The Masterclass is in Dutch, but English subtitles are available. Overall, it’s a thoughtful, inspiring, and thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish — and at no point does it feel like a sales event.
A few suggestions for improvement:
• Introduce the two charming hosts — are they perfumers or experts?
• Display the sample number during the blind test and show the bottle during the reveal.
• It would be nice if the mini candle matched the theme of the Masterclass.
• Clearly mention in the description that English subtitles are available. It makes the masterclass accessible to a much wider audience
• And please offer more Masterclasses! Vanilla and Sandalwood are currently unavailable (January ’26) — I’d love to see them return.

Voor een mooi prijsje deze masterclass aangeschaft en wat leuk en interessant om te volgen. Echt een paar mooie nieuwe geuren ontdekt.
Technisch werkte alles perfect en de geurtjes werden mooi verpakt verstuurd. Ik denk dat ik de vanille masterclass maar ga kopen. Past mooi bij de koudere seizoenen.

Echt heel leuk en interessant om te volgen, heerlijk als je een avondje voor jezelf hebt maar ook leuk om samen met vriendinnen te doen. Had wel verwacht dat het geurkaarsje ook een rozengeur zou zijn. Echt leuk om op deze manier nieuwe geuren te ontdekken. Ik dacht altijd dat ik niet zo’n rozen fan was, maar dat blijkt helemaal niet zo te zijn!
