I had smelled this fragrance in the airport few weeks back and it completely stayed with me.
I knew then and there I needed to put it on my wishlist and get it as soon as I found a Skins boutique.
While the opening is fresh and dreamy, followed by a beautiful woody scent, it dries down subtle and sweet like a soft fluffy sweet bubble that follows you around.
It lasts long on my skin and stays for days on my clothes.
This is a must in your collection!

The first time I tested this out was at a different store and I could still smell it on clothing a day later, I ended up getting a tester of it in a skins custom sample set to see if I'd like wearing it on skin for a while.
The bergamot opening is nice and fresh and feels like an inviting start to my day. In the dry down, I get this not so overly sweetness from the praline mixed with the clean scent of musk. After an hour or two, this slightly warm woody note shines through while still staying subtly sweet.
Easily lasts 5+ hours on me with a beautiful scent journey. I'm happy I finally got a full sized bottle.

De EDP blijft helaas niet lang hangen dus de absolue erbij gekocht die dieper en romiger is.
Gebruik ze over elkaar en de sillage en longevity is super nu!

This reinterpretation elevates the gourmand notes of Bal d’Afrique to an addictive level, centred around a heart of sweet praline. Notes of bergamot, lemon and blackcurrant offer a bold vibrancy before giving way to praline, sweet musk and violets. A woody blend of cedar and vetiver adds depth and drama to the base, alongside warm black amber. The Absolu de Parfum is housed in a redesigned bottle, a tribute to craftsmanship. The textured cap, inspired by Yakisugi – the Japanese art of charring wood – embodies deep intensity and transformation. The cap opens to reveal a silver and gold atomiser, complementing the bottle’s minimalist design and the sleek curves of the glass, which showcase the intense colour of the fragrance within.
Alcohol Denat., Parfum (fragrance), Aqua (water), Benzyl Salicylate, Hydroxycitronellal, Alpha-isomethyl Ionone, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Limonene, Citral, Alcohol, Citronellol, Coumarin, Tris(tetramethylhydroxypiperidinol) Citrate, Geraniol, Linalool, Ci 60730 (ext. Violet 2), Ci 19140 (yellow 5), Ci 17200 (red 33), Ci 42090 (blue 1).
Apply perfume to areas where you can feel your pulse clearly, such as your wrist and the nape of your neck. You can also spray the perfume onto your clothes, as this helps the scent to last longer. With Eau de Parfum, Extrait de Parfum and perfume, the fragrance is worn only on the skin, as the oils need the skin to retain the scent. Cologne and Eau de Toilette can be sprayed onto clothing.
Please note: if the perfume has a high colour concentration, do not spray it onto light-coloured clothing.
