Clive Christian unites royal British history with a progressive vision of perfume. Since 1872, Queen Victoria's crown has adorned its flacons, a reference to its rich history and special connection with one of Britain's greatest monarchs. British perfume house Clive Christian traces its origins back to 1872, at the Crown Perfumery Company. Since Clive Christian took over, this heritage lives on in a modern vision of perfume. The crown on the cap of each bottle refers to Queen Victoria, one of England's most influential monarchs.



Clive Christian: craftsmanship and concentration in balance

Clive Christian develops perfumes with a high concentration of perfume oils, each starting at twenty per cent. This gives each composition a long-lasting and layered presence on the skin. The formulas often consist of more than a hundred ingredients, which are carefully brought together into a whole that unfolds step by step.

From aged sandalwood to Rose Damascena and saffron, each ingredient is chosen with attention to quality. This precision creates perfumes that unfold gradually and develop throughout the day.

1872 Feminine opens brightly with bergamot and lemon. Fresh and vibrant, as if light were falling directly on your skin. At the heart, centifolia rose, jasmine and orchid come together in a floral accord that feels soft yet rich.

The base of patchouli, musk and sandalwood brings tranquillity and depth. The composition has subtle accents of pineapple and blueberry that give it an unexpected touch. Using 146 ingredients creates a fragrance that continues to evolve and is experienced differently every time.
