Orphéon by DIPTYQUE is a perfume inspired by the night bar of the same name next to the first DIPTYQUE boutique, where the founders regularly came for a vibrant night out. The Orphéon was their salon, their night out, their office outside the borders of their little kingdom. The salon's atmosphere was recreated by perfumer Olivier Pescheux, who created an olfactive portrait of the perfume. The fragrance is reminiscent of the bar where tobacco smoke mixes with powdery traces of Blush and lingers on the polished wood of the bar. In the heart of the composition, the nightclub vibe emerges, with warm tonka bean, deep cedarwood and vibrant juniper berries.

How to
Apply perfume to areas where you feel your heartbeat, such as your wrist and neck. You can mist the perfume on the clothing, to let the scent remain longer. With eau de parfum, extrait de parfum and perfume, perfume is only worn on the skin, because oils need skin to retain fragrance. Cologne and Eau de toilette can be sprayed on clothing. Note: If the perfume has a strong color concentration, do not mist on light clothing.

Heel moeilijk om te omschrijven. Het ruikt naar poeder maar een hele luxe zachte poeder. Krijg redelijk veel complimenten.

Toen ik de geurnoten zag dacht ik ‘Nee niks voor mij’ gezien ik van poederig/bloemig houd. Op een dag besloot ik de geur te testen en wauw… positief verbaasd!!! Een hele warme geur voor in de winter. Het ruikt sensueel, ik kreeg gelijk complimenten toen ik de tester op had. Besloten om de grotere variant te bestellen :)

It is a very clean, fresh, powdery smell, that I tend to love especially during the day. But it is also very woody and aromatic, that can come out almost softly spicy.
