Return & refunds
We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the products back or until you have demonstrated that you have returned the goods, whichever comes first. You must keep the return receipt until the purchase amount has been refunded.
Money refund based on payment method:
- Paid with iDeal, credit card, Bancontact or PayPal: the purchase amount will be refunded to your bank account as soon as possible and no later than 14 days.
- Paid with a Skins Gift Card): you will receive this amount back in the form of the same gift voucher as you paid with.
- Klarna: indicate to Klarna that you are returning your order. When the return is processed, the payment obligation to Klarna is cancelled.
- Please note that used voucher codes will expire on return and will not be reissued.
Returns from the Netherlands & Belgium
You can easily register a return shipment free of charge via DHL by clicking here. Please fill in all fields and enter your order number (XXXXXX) in the “Reference number” field.
Once you have filled in all the details, you will be given the option to print out a return label yourself or to create a QR code and present it at the DHL Service Point. For reasons of sustainability and convenience, we recommend that you use the QR code method.

Returns outside the Netherlands & Belgium
We would kindly like to ask you to please include your full name, address, order number and reason for the return in your package (preferably on the packing slip), so that we are able to process your return swiftly.
We request that you return the items to us in the original packaging and in the original box or a similar box. Please make sure that the contents are packaged securely, so that they will reach us in good condition.
We also advise you to keep the receipt with barcode that you receive after handing off the package to the post office, so to track your parcel if needed.
Please note: Returning an order outside of the Netherlands is at your own expense. It is not possible to send proof of payment to Skins or to claim a refund of the shipping costs. We therefore also advise you to ensure that your return parcel is sufficiently insured as, legally, Skins is not liable for any damages or loss of return parcels.

After we have received and fully processed your return, we will refund you via the original payment method, as soon as possible within 14 calendar days.
E-boutique
- The product may be opened and tested but must be returned in the best possible condition, including the original packaging.
- An exception to this are products in the skincare, make-up and intimate care categories, which for hygiene reasons may only be returned when the seal is still intact.
- The product must be returned within 60 days.
- Personalised items, such as customised sample sets, cannot be returned.
- The product may not be opened and tested and can only be exchanged in the boutiques for an alternate product or a voucher.
- Products bought in a boutique cannot be returned online.
